AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A grand jury voted to indict an Amarillo man who initiated a tense SWAT standoff on Christmas Eve.
Darius Vincent Solis is charged with tampering with an electronic monitoring device and evading arrest or detention with a vehicle.
Court documents for Solis say that he removed his ankle monitor several days before Thanksgiving—despite the requirement to wear one being part of his conditions of parole.
