The Amarillo Fire Department responded to a fire at a single-family residence in the 2500 block of South Taylor Street on Monday at 11:29 a.m. Engine 9 arrived on scene within minutes and reported smoke showing from the eaves and roofline of the home, indicating fire activity in the attic space.
