AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Amarillo Wesley Community Center announced it will celebrate the groundbreaking for its upcoming Community Garden on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m., in an event which will be open to the public.
The Community Garden groundbreaking will be held at the center, located at 1615 S Roberts St., according to officials.
Heart of the High Plains: Turn Center providing therapy for families
As noted in previous reports and on the organization’s website, the AWCC has operated as a nonprofit community center since 1951. The AWCC offers a range of childcare and youth services, including its wrestling and mentorship programs, as well as programs for senior citizens.
