It’s another hot one out there again for our Friday, ironically the first day of spring! Winds will stay light through the rest of the afternoon with temperatures cooling nicely this evening. Saturday, we’ll see a chance at Amarillo’s hottest March day in history, with high 90°s expected.
Pairing this with breezy southwesterly winds at 10-20 mph, we’ll see Red Flag Warnings for the day. Then Sunday, a cold front will hit in the early afternoon, kicking winds up to 15-25 mph out of the north, bringing more wildfire danger into the outlook…
