The Amarillo Fire Department responded to a structure fire at T-Miller Wrecker Service at 1201 S Johnson Street Tuesday afternoon at 1:51. Upon arrival, crews reported heavy black smoke showing from the front side of the building. Crews deployed multiple hose lines and utilized foam to extinguish a fuel-involved fire containing oil and gasoline. Additional crews performed coordinated fire suppression operations from both interior and exterior positions, including cutting access through a large overhead door. The fire was brought under control, and overhaul operations were completed. No injuries to civilians or firefighters were reported. The structure sustained moderate damage as a result of the fire.
