RANDALL COUNTY, Texas (KFDA) – A Randall County correctional officer was fired and arrested after officials say he had a THC vape pen inside the jail.
According to the Randall County Sheriff’s Office, on March 26, the sheriff’s office became aware a correctional officer was in possession of a THC vape pen for personal use inside the Randall County Jail.
The information was then referred to the Randall County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division and Internal Affairs Division.
Darion Cash was then fired, arrested and booked into the Randall County jail on a second-degree felony charge of prohibited substances and items in a correctional or civil commitment facility…
