Amarillo woman indicted for dangerous high-speed chase on I-27

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A grand jury indicted a woman who led troopers with the Texas Department of Public Safety on the first pursuit of 2026.

According to Randall County court documents, 29-year-old Jasmine Sanchez, is indicted for evading arrest with a vehicle.

The offense is a third-degree felony that carries a punishment range of up to 10 years in prison.
