AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Julie Scott has fostered 18 children over the last six years while working with Saint Francis.
Scott and her family focus on special needs children from newborn to 3 years old.
“You never know what the children are going to have when they come in, so you have to be flexible,” Scott said. “You have to be able to listen, you have to be able to be compassionate. Some of the stories that you’re going to hear from them are so heartbreaking but then it’s so rewarding to see them come out of their shell.”…
