Two online fundraisers are seeking the community’s support to help the families and cover costs of funeral expenses for two women who died in a head-on crash last week in north Amarillo.
“Aracely Lerma is facing an unimaginable loss after her daughter recently passed away in a tragic accident,” the GoFundMe fundraiser on behalf of Jasmine Lerma says. “As a close friend, Laura is reaching out to the community to help support her during this heartbreaking time. The sudden loss has left her friend not only grieving but also struggling to cover the unexpected costs that come with arranging a funeral for her beloved daughter. The other fundraiser, titled “In Memory of Nallely Salais, a Shining Light,” says, “The Amarillo Country Club family mourns the loss of Nallely Salais, who was deeply loved by members and staff alike.
