AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The Amarillo City Council has voted for the demolition and abatement of the historic Old English Field terminal building.
The Old English terminal building was constructed in the early 1940s but has not been in use since the 1970s when the current airport terminal was constructed.
In recent years, the building has continued to deteriorate and according to city staff has become a critical safety hazard.
