AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – Thunderstorms we’re seeing for our Friday evening are the pre-cursor to more widespread activity going into Saturday.
Starting Saturday afternoon, we’ll see lines of thunderstorms forming in eastern New Mexico and tracking east.
These storms will have the potential for strong gusts and some damaging hail. Thankfully flash flooding and tornado risks are low.
We’ll see these storm chances continue through the evening and early overnight period before moving out thanks to drier air moving in Sunday.
