Amarillo man indicted for assault, child endangerment after Valentine’s Day shooting

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A man will be prosecuted for a shooting that happened on Valentine’s Day.

A Potter County grand jury decided there is enough evidence to formally charge 29-year-old Christopher SirCharles Williams with:

  • Aggravated assault w/ a deadly weapon (5 counts), second-degree felony
  • Abandon/endangering a child, state jail felony

On Valentine’s Day, officers with Amarillo Police Department responded to a call about a shooting near Jason Avenue and River Road.
