AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Within the span of one week, Accelerate Christian School’s Danity Diaz signed to play golf at Wayland Baptist University as the first student-athlete out of her institution to go to the next level, and she claimed the TAPPS 1A Girls State Champion Golfer title.
Danity is an all-around athlete, earning All-State honors in volleyball, basketball, and golf. When she is not training and competing at the highest level, she’s hitting the books. Just as the hard work has paid off on the court and the course, it has also paid off in the classroom, as Danity was named valedictorian of her class and will graduate with a 4.0 GPA this month.
In this week’s episode, Corrin Davis sits down with Danity to discuss her outstanding high school career, why she chose Wayland Baptist as her next home, and how her faith has impacted every moment of her life. The excitement continues on episode 16 of Catching Up With Corrin!
