Heavy winds with gusts between 50-60 miles per hour has caused low visibility for motorists traveling between Amarillo and Canyon on Interstate 27.
An emergency alert was pushed across mobile phones stating that a dust storm was in effect until 5:15 p.m. for Canyon and Randall County.
