AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – High winds have caused some power outages across the area.
In Potter County, Xcel Energy is temporarily shutting off power to the following neighborhoods due to wildfires:
- Bishop Hills
- Bishop Estates
- Tascosa Hills
Xcel says this decision was in response to current fire conditions and public safety concerns in the area.
