Federal charges for man who had $76k in fentanyl on Greyhound bus

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – A man was arrested at the Amarillo Greyhound bus station last week for transporting $76,000 in fentanyl.

On May 10, the Amarillo Police Department K9 was conducting an interdiction operation at the Greyhound bus terminal. A K9 alerted to a piece of luggage in a bus’s storage area.

A probable cause search of the luggage revealed two wrapped packages containing a white powder weighing approximately 2,300 grams. A field test confirmed it was fentanyl…
