AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — Since the Stinky Fire destroyed more than 50 homes, Gracie’s Project has been working to retrieve dogs that were lost or displaced during the disaster.
“We saw several of them that were in need that had been burned, their hair was singed, their paws were burned and coughing. And so, we knew we needed to step in and help try to get them the medical attention that they needed and try to protect them until their owners can come forward and get them.”
