$1.5M Watch Scheme: Former Pasadena jeweler faces 23 felony charges

A former Pasadena jeweler is accused of swindling 22 victims out of a total of $1.5 million for Rolex watches that never existed.

Nelson Andres Holdo, 66, operated in Newport Beach, Pasadena and San Marino. He faces a total of 23 felony charges.

“When corrupt individuals orchestrate complex schemes to siphon away people’s hard-earned money, my office will act swiftly,” Attorney General Rob Bonta said. “Those who manipulate the rules to enrich themselves at the expense of others will always be held accountable.
