Lawsuits are piling up after tens of thousands of people were placed under evacuation orders for nearly a week due to a failing Orange County chemical tank.
Lawyers representing many of those affected are set to announce a major lawsuit against GKN Aerospace during a 10:30 a.m. news conference hosted by The Steel & Eisner LLP in Seal Beach.
Residents involved in another lawsuit say the incident was foreseeable and preventable, and that GKN Aerospace had a responsibility to maintain the tank and keep the chemicals from threatening the surrounding neighborhood…
