Orange County senior community worried over increasing coyote attacks

Residents in Laguna Woods are on edge after they say coyotes have taken over their neighborhood, attacking both dogs and people in the area.

Those living at Laguna Woods Village, a large 55+ senior community, said they’ve seen a troubling uptick in coyote encounters and many are afraid to walk their dogs outside.

“Off my balcony the other day, I counted eight coyotes between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.,” a resident named Faith told KTLA’s Mary Beth McDade…
