An Orange County man was sentenced Monday to 14 years in federal prison for orchestrating a years‑long scheme that defrauded investors and lenders out of more than $248 million.
Joseph Neal Sanberg, 46, of Orange, co‑founded and served on the board of the financial technology and sustainability company formerly known as Aspiration Partners Inc.
Sanberg pleaded guilty in October 2025 to two counts of wire fraud.
