OCVIBE Reveals Plans for 5,000-Seat Concert Hall in Anaheim Entertainment District

OCVIBE has officially revealed the design for a new 5,000-capacity concert hall in Anaheim, California, marking a major milestone in the development of its large-scale entertainment district surrounding the Honda Center. The venue is part of a broader vision to transform the area into a year-round destination for live music, events, dining, and community experiences. Designed by global architecture firm Populous, the concert hall is expected to open in early 2027 and will serve as a key mid-sized performance space within the expanding OCVIBE campus.

The project reflects Orange County’s growing importance in the live entertainment industry, bridging the gap between intimate music venues and large arenas. With its flexible design and advanced production capabilities, the concert hall aims to attract touring artists, comedy shows, esports events, and other large-scale performances.

A Major Addition to the OCVIBE Entertainment District

The concert hall is one of the most significant additions to the OCVIBE development, a 100-acre mixed-use entertainment district being built around the Honda Center in Anaheim. The district is designed to integrate sports, music, dining, hospitality, and public spaces into a unified urban experience.

Once completed, OCVIBE will include multiple venues of varying sizes, allowing artists to progress from smaller clubs to mid-sized halls and eventually to the Honda Center arena. The 5,000-seat concert hall fills a crucial gap in the region’s entertainment infrastructure, providing a venue that can host major touring acts without requiring an arena-scale production.

Designed for Flexibility and Modern Entertainment

The concert hall has been designed by Populous, a global architecture firm known for creating sports and entertainment venues worldwide. The venue will feature a flexible layout capable of hosting concerts, comedy performances, televised events, award shows, esports competitions, and private gatherings…
