Pacific Beach
Body Art Run Club and Urban Run Club partner for a Juneteenth Fundraiser at The Local Pacific Beach on Thursday, June 18, at 6 p.m. The community run and walk is followed by a social hour with optional trivia, drinks, and food. A minimum $10 donation gets one raffle ticket, with prizes including running gear, swag, and energy drinks. June 18: Studio Sessions Juneteenth Jazz Night

Future Is Color presents Studio Sessions Juneteenth Jazz Night at Quartyard on Thursday, June 18, from 6 to 9 p.m. Part of the ongoing Studio Sessions series, which began as a weekly jazz night rooted in the mission of collective liberation, the evening brings live jazz, community conversation, and cultural connection to one of Downtown San Diego’s most beloved outdoor venues. The San Diego County Fair at Del Mar Fairgrounds marks Juneteenth on Friday, June 19, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Chevrolet Paddock Stage, with a full day of performances honoring the holiday’s history and celebrating the achievements and contributions of Black Americans since emancipation. The lineup includes blues performer Lenny “Fuzzy” Rankins, solo jazz guitarist and singer Elliott Lawrence, line dancing with ERRRVERYBODI Line Dancers, drumming and dancing by the Worldbeat Center African Drummers and Dancers featuring Master Drummer Dramane Koné, DJ Kool T, and spoken word performances hosted by Kendrick Dial of The Lyrical Groove. The Origin Hip Hop Performing Arts Academy celebrates Juneteenth with a weekend of dance honoring the legacy of African American movement culture, opening Friday, June 19, with a Soul Food Dinner Show at 7 p.m. The immersive evening features a history of African American dance culture, live performances, and a shared cultural dining experience.
