A lawsuit has been filed against a pair of Southern California refineries in the wake of the Garden Grove chemical incident last month, as the group behind the suit calls the situations at each site “a potential ticking time bomb.”
The Torrance Refinery Action Alliance (TRAA), in a media release, explained that their suit’s focus lies on the two antiquated alkylation units of a PBF Energy subsidiary refinery in Torrance and Valero refinery in Wilmington.
