West Nile virus detected in Orange County

The West Nile virus has been detected in mosquitoes in Huntington Beach, the Orange County Mosquito and Vector Control District announced Tuesday.

“While the risk of infection remains low, residents are encouraged to take simple precautions to protect themselves and their families,” the vector control district stated.
