HUNGINGTON BEACH, CA — Officers with the Huntington Beach Police Department recently arrested a woman after responding to a report of a child locked inside a vehicle. Upon arriving at the scene, responding officers located an unattended infant inside a car that had its windows only slightly open.
According to police reports, officers located the child’s mother inside a nearby business shortly after arriving. The infant, who was observed to be hot and perspiring, was removed from the vehicle. The mother stated to officers that she had left the child unattended for several minutes.
