HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Officers from the Huntington Beach Police Department recently responded to a solo vehicle traffic collision. Upon arrival at the scene, responding personnel located the driver slumped over behind the steering wheel of the vehicle. Following the initial assessment, officers initiated a driving under the influence investigation. The driver was subsequently placed under arrest and transported to a local hospital to receive medical treatment.
During the stay at the medical facility, a records check was conducted regarding the suspect’s driving and criminal history. The records review revealed that the individual had three prior convictions for driving under the influence. Additionally, the check indicated that the suspect had two separate driving under the influence cases currently pending in the court system.
