Fullerton Police Officers responded to the intersection of W. Orangethorpe Ave. and S. Basque Ave. regarding a collision involving a bicycle and a vehicle on July 13, 2026, at approximately 9:09 pm. Upon arrival, Officers located a black 2013 Chevrolet Suburban and an electric motorcycle in the roadway.
The preliminary investigation indicates a black 2013 Chevrolet Suburban was traveling westbound on W. Orangethorpe Ave. and began making a left turn onto S. Basque Ave. on a green light. At the same time, an electric motorcycle was traveling eastbound on W. Orangethorpe Ave. in the bike lane, also with a green light, when it collided with the Chevrolet Suburban.
The Fullerton Fire Department responded and transported the rider of the electric motorcycle, an adult male, to a local hospital with serious injuries. The Chevrolet Suburban was occupied by three individuals, all of whom were treated for minor injuries at an area hospital…
