A tropical storm system in the Pacific Ocean is expected to bring large swells along the Southern California coastline next week.
Tropical Storm Elida is not expected to make landfall, but it has triggered a High Surf Advisory. The National Weather Service says that advisory will take effect 5 p.m. Sunday and last through 11 p.m. Tuesday.
