A California woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on US93 south of Wells last Friday.
On August 7, at about 1:35 PM, Nevada Highway Patrol troopers responded to a report of a collision near mile marker 63, approximately 11 miles south of Wells.
A preliminary investigation suggests a gold Chevrolet Suburban SUV traveling north crossed the center line. A silver Kia SUV traveling south steered right in an attempt to avoid a head-on collision, but the front left of the Chevrolet struck the front left of the Kia.
