Suspect caught hours after Southern California Park-and-Ride stabbing

A 46-year-old Fullerton man suspected of attempted murder was arrested within hours of a stabbing at an Orange County Park-and-Ride lot.

Police responded to the 3000 block of West Orangethorpe Avenue, home to Fullerton Park-and-Ride 5, after receiving a report of an assault with a deadly weapon at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday.

When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from multiple stab wounds. Orange County sheriff’s deputies, who were already at the scene, were providing aid to the victim, according to a Fullerton Police Department news release.

The victim, whose identity was not released, was taken to a local hospital in critical but stable condition…
