Boy found unconscious in Southern California swimming pool makes full recovery

A young boy who was found unresponsive at the bottom of a swimming pool at an Orange County apartment complex recently reunited with the officers who helped save his life after recovering in the hospital.

“Earlier this month, IPD officers sprang into action after a child was found at the bottom of an apartment complex swimming pool, unconscious and unresponsive,” the Irvine Police Department said in a Facebook post Monday.

After rescuing the boy from the pool, officers worked together to perform CPR. The child regained a heartbeat and began breathing on his own.

He was then transported to Children’s Hospital Orange County, where he was released a few days later after making a full recovery…
