A woman was killed and a man was injured after police say two joggers attempted to cross railroad tracks in Santa Fe Springs while the crossing gates were already down.
The woman was later identified as 34-year-old Graciela Vargas. She was pronounced dead at the scene Thursday morning. The man who was with her suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a hospital, according to KTLA.
