Police are investigating the death of a woman who was shot in the Wrigley area early Monday morning.
The woman was in the 1900 block of Long Beach Boulevard around 5:19 a.m. when she was shot, according to Long Beach police.
Officers gave the woman medical aid until relieved by Long Beach Fire Department personnel, police said. She was then taken to a local hospital where she later died of her injuries, according to authorities…
