Police say a pedestrian was killed in a hit-and-run crash this morning on the Anaheim Street bridge over the Los Angeles River.
The crash happened at about 7:11 a.m. on westbound Anaheim Street just east of the 710 Freeway, according to Long Beach police.
An unknown vehicle struck a man in the roadway, then fled, said police spokesperson Jordan McGinley.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, McGinley said. His name and age were not immediately available…
