A 63-year-old man was struck and killed by a driver in Garden Grove Tuesday night.
The crash occurred on the 10900 block of Chapman Avenue around 3:48 p.m., the Garden Grove Police Department said.
An officer had witnessed the pedestrian being struck by the driver in a Chevrolet Suburban SUV.
The officer ran over to help the victim who was found with traumatic injuries. He was transported to UCI Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. He was only identified as a 63-year-old man…
