Southern California’s Huntington Beach experienced a “spooky and splooty” invasion on Saturday as over 2,000 corgis and their people celebrated a “Howl-O-Ween Corgi Beach Pawty.”
For the 14th year, Corgi Beach Day turned into a Halloween bonanza with photo ops, corgi contests, “CelebreCorg” meet and greets, a corgi kissing booth and over 45 vendors offering samples and giveaways — and of course, a corgi costume contest.
The event, organized by So Cal Corgi Nation, drew attendees from throughout the United States as well as Eastern Canada and even Argentinians who drove an RV to the can’t-miss corgi congregation, according to Kelly McLemore, co-founder of So Cal Corgi Nation.
“It was a great turnout,” she said. “Everyone really brought their A game. We had some really amazing costumes this year.”…
