Three suspects arrested in connection with assault of U.S. Postal worker, mail theft

Fullerton law enforcement has sent a strong message to would-be thieves: stealing in this city will get you “express shipping to jail.”

The recent arrest of suspects involved in robbing a post office and assaulting a postal worker demonstrates the commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the community, police said.

The incident unfolded when officers, vigilant and in the right place at the right time, identified a possible suspect vehicle linked to the post office robbery, police said. Wasting no time, they conducted a traffic stop, and to their discovery, a USPS mail bin was found inside the vehicle, police added.

The intercepted suspects now face serious charges, having been booked on counts of robbery and assault with a deadly weapon.
