After Many Burglaries in Long Beach, a Man Has Been Apprehended.

Authorities stated on Thursday that a 35-year-old San Pedro resident has been taken into custody for a series of burglaries that have occurred in Long Beach.

The Long Beach Police Department’s patrol officers discovered an open door in a shop on East 2nd Street on Tuesday, just before five in the morning.

According to an LBPD press release, as police proceeded along the street after noticing damage to the door, they found evidence of forced entry at six different businesses.

In Southern California, churchgoers are victims of identity theft and forgeries.

The suspect gained entry to the establishments and took an undetermined quantity of items during each of the six reported burglaries that occurred between the 4700 and 5300 block of East 2nd Street. Investigators identified the guy using security camera video from the victims.

Belmont Shores patrols were stepped up, and area businesses were given safety advice by the authorities.

Kevin Scott Plunket was apprehended and discovered on Wednesday in San Pedro’s 2500 block of South Leland Street.
