Cops seek man who stole from unlocked car stopped at California gas station

The Irvine Police Department is reaching out to the community for assistance in identifying a suspect involved in a theft incident that occurred on the morning of February 9.

The individual entered an unlocked vehicle at a gas station located at Irvine Blvd. and Sand Canyon and made off with the victim’s purse.

The suspect, captured on surveillance footage, was observed getting into the passenger seat of a Mazda SUV before leaving the scene. Authorities are now seeking any information that can lead to the identification of this individual.

The Irvine Police Department is actively investigating this incident and is appreciative of any assistance from the public in helping solve this crime.
