The black Chevrolet and boat were parked at the Von’s gas station. Video footage from the Von’s gas station captured two Hispanic male suspects as they entered the gas station separately.

One suspect purchased a one-gallon water jug and the other paid for gas, authorities said.

Authorities added that after they filled the water jug with gas, the boat was towed behind Von’s and set on fire.

The black Chevrolet was last seen, driving southbound on Magnolia Ave., towards the 15 Freeway.

Investigators later learned that the boat had been stolen from a Corona residence, approximately 2 miles west of where it was set on fire.
