Abandoned, Stripped Vehicle Burns in Pomona

POMONA, Calif., May 7 (KNN) — An abandoned, stripped vehicle was found engulfed in flames overnight in the city of Pomona.

Pomona police officers and Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel responded to a car fire just before 3:30 a.m. at Ridgeway Street and West Mountain View.

Once officers and firefighters arrived at the scene, they located an abandoned, stripped vehicle fully involved in flames. Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire within 10 to 15 minutes of receiving the call.

It is unknown at this time if this incident involves an unreported stolen vehicle.
