One of California’s best cities to call home gears up for annual day where residents can give back

The City of Irvine is gearing up for the fourth annual Love Irvine Citywide Serve Day on Saturday, November 2, from 7:30 a.m. to noon. This initiative, in partnership with Love Irvine, connects residents eager to volunteer with various nonprofit service providers, faith-based organizations, government entities, and schools.

Participants can choose from over 25 projects, including harvesting produce at Harvest Solutions Farm, sorting food at Families Forward and South County Outreach, making blankets for the 2/11 Marine Battalion, organizing clothing at Working Wardrobes, teaching tech skills to seniors, and packing 30,000 meals for hungry children.

The day will kick off at 7:30 a.m. at Heritage Park, where volunteers will gather before heading to their designated locations. The event aims to foster community spirit and create a meaningful impact in Irvine and beyond.
