OCVIBE’s first phase will feature five restaurants, according to Orange County Business Journal. More specifics on the $4 billion project have been released, including the announcement that A Restaurant will be part of the sprawling complex, located in Anaheim.
The first phase is slated to open by 2026, promising to reshape the city’s dining and entertainment landscape. The second phase will be completed in 2027. The critically acclaimed restaurant brand, part of Newport Beach’s River Jetty Restaurant Group, will be an anchor at the development.
River Jetty was founded by video director and producer McG and business partner Jordan Otterbein, runs coastal venues like A Restaurants in Newport, Crystal Cove, and Long Beach, and also owns CDM Restaurant.
Backed by the Samueli family, OCVIBE will span 100 acres and also feature a market hall, a performance venue, an urban park, and a public events space. Additionally, it will feature two multi-level parking structures and residential and office spaces. It’s estimated it will bring in $10 million in annual revenue for the city.
