Orange County, Part Two
Exposing the Corruption Endangering Families in Orange County’s Family Court System
In Orange County’s family court system, parents face a harrowing reality: judges who ignore abuse allegations, retaliate against protective parents, and systematically bend—or outright break—California’s laws. These practices have destroyed families and left children in harm’s way for decades.
High-profile cases such as Ruby Dillon and her daughter Lexi in 2014, Tawny Minna Grossman and Tar Nolan in 2023, and the Jessica St. Clair saga, spanning decades, expose a deeply flawed system. Judges have repeatedly dismissed abuse allegations, awarding custody to accused abusers—primarily fathers. Protective parents who dared to challenge judicial bias often faced retaliation, leaving them powerless to safeguard their children.
This article is the second part of my series on California judges. If you missed part one, I strongly encourage you to [read it here]. Apparently, Judges Carmen Luege and Mary Kreber Varipapa join Judges James L. Waltz and Glenn R. Salter in these practices, as detailed in this continuation.
