(KTLA) — Seven suspects were arrested after over $200,000 worth of stolen sneakers were discovered during a theft bust in Orange County Friday.
California Highway Patrol officers were investigating a theft that targeted a train container near the community of Amboy in San Bernardino County.
The suspects were accused of breaking into the container, which housed expensive Nike Jordan sneakers, and transporting the stolen merch into a U-Haul truck before fleeing the area.

On Friday at around 11:25 a.m., CHP spotted the suspects’ U-Haul truck and a connected pickup truck in Anaheim.
The vehicles were pulled over and seven suspects were arrested at the scene. Their identities were not released. Authorities also discovered a large amount of stolen cargo and burglary tools inside the vehicles.
Photos of the arrest show the box truck was filled to the brim with large boxes of expensive sneakers and merchandise.
