Police are investigating after a man was found dead underneath a freeway overpass in Riverside County.
On Nov. 24, police responded to reports of an injured person underneath the 91 Freeway overpass near Grand Boulevard in Corona at around 8:34 a.m.
Arriving officers found the male victim lying on the road, unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Riverside County Coroner confirmed his death “did not appear to be natural” and believed he was the victim of a homicide.
No suspects were found in the area and the circumstances surrounding the man’s death remain unclear.
“We are seeking the public’s assistance and request that anyone with information contact our Detective Bureau,” said the Corona Police Department.
The victim’s identity was not released.
