Oshae Pollard, 21, of the Manchester Square neighborhood in Los Angeles, was arrested on a federal complaint alleging a series of armed robberies in parking lots across Los Angeles and Orange counties, including a shooting at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Central District of California announced today.
The first robbery occurred late on Aug. 25, 2024, in the Hustler Casino parking lot in Gardena. Pollard allegedly shoved a woman to the ground, placed a pistol in her mouth, and threatened to kill her before stealing $1,000 to $2,000 and fleeing, according to the department.
The department reported that in the early hours of August 26, Pollard and an accomplice reportedly robbed a taxi driver at gunpoint in Carson, striking him and taking his wallet and phone.
Later that night, Pollard allegedly targeted two individuals near their Rolls-Royce and Ferrari, the department said.
In addition, Pollard reportedly stole a luxury watch, wallet, and car keys before firing a round at the fleeing Ferrari, narrowly missing the driver, the department confirmed.
