The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is spreading holiday cheer by delivering over 1,000 toys to children whose parents are incarcerated.
Department employees collected the toys throughout the past month, distributing them at custody centers across the county.

Visiting areas at these facilities were transformed into festive workshops, complete with Christmas decorations and engaging activities. Children crafted ornaments, colored pictures, and enjoyed holiday treats like cupcakes and cookies provided by the Food Services Bureau.
An LASD representative told KNX News’ Art Sanders that department employees give selflessly all year, and the event speaks to the power of empathy and strength that comes from supporting one another.
