Detectives and loved ones are looking for an at-risk woman who was last seen in the San Gabriel Valley on Christmas afternoon, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to bring her home.
The sheriff’s office said Sara Powell, a 21-year-old resident of L.A. County, was last seen around 12:40 p.m. near the 15700 block of Fellowship Street in the city of Valinda.
LASD said Powell has a possible destination of Baldwin Park.
Officials describe Powell as a white woman who stands 5 feet and 7 inches tall, weighs about 162 pounds, has blonde shoulder length, wavy hair and blue eyes.
When Powell was last seen, the sheriff’s office said she was wearing a black leather jacket, blue leggings and was carrying a white handbag.
According to LASD, Powell requires medication and her family is concerned for her well-being.
